Privacy matters, but it can be confusing. This page explains our approach to privacy on our website and how it affects you.

Short version

  • We use Google Analytics to get anonymous statistics about your visit, which helps us make the site better.
  • We use Google AdSense to monetize the site.
  • We use cookies to enable the “Love it” / “My Collection” functionality.
  • We never share your data with 3rd parties except to help us deliver our own services, as explained above.

These are just the key points. If you need detail, keep reading.

Google Analytics

We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics. This records what pages you view within our site, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous – we don’t know who you are; just that somebody visited our site.

The information we collect from analytics helps us understand what parts of our sites are doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. Like most websites, we use this information to make our website better.

You can learn more about Google Analytics or opt out if you wish.

Google AdSense and DoubleClick cookie

We use Google AdSense to monetize this website. Google’s use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve you ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

Since we use two Google products on our site, you may find Google’s video on how they use cookies, helpful.

AndroidWalls functionality cookies

The site uses a cookie to make the “Love it” / “My Collection” functionality possible.

When you click on the heart-shaped icon titled “Love it”, a cookie called AndroidWallsCollection is stored/updated on your computer.
This cookie will contain a list of wallpaper IDs from our website, that you added to your collection.

It is only used for this functionality and using it does not identify you in any way. Due to the nature of this functionality, there is no opt in/opt out mechanism for this particular cookie.
If you don’t want our website to store this cookie on your computer, simply don’t click the heart icon to add a wallpaper to your collection.
